We had a great time at the beach hunting for nurdles on Saturday (4th Feb) at the Winter Nurdle organised by Fidra. First time to get data for Seton Sands! It wasn't so cold either, since we were protected from the wind by the dunes.
Initially, we had a hard time finding them, but we had indicators where to look and after a while we got the hang of it. 278 nurdles in total at Seton sands (4 adults - 2 kids - 1.5h)
The Greenpeace Energy desk covered the story with some pretty interesting data from the results of the survey: http://energydesk.greenpeace.org/2017/02/17/hundreds-thousands-plastics-...
Looking forward to our beach cleans and surveys this year in cooperation with MCS.
