In the last twelve months, thirty percent of all traffic on Greenwire has come from mobile and tablet devices. It’s clear you want access to the platform on the device of your choice, whenever or wherever you need it. Until now mobile users have had to squint, swipe and pinch at their screens to get to the content they need, but that’s about to change.
In the next few days, we’ll be launching a mobile and tablet-friendly version of Greenwire. Content will be adapted for all screen sizes and sliding menus will make navigation easier for mobile. The platform’s overall look has been overhauled in favour of a more minimal and clean design, even when viewed on a full-sized screen.
We’re now working to get this update ready for you as soon as we can. Greenpeace staff & Greenwire community coaches have been running the platform through a series of tests, and the developers are now repairing a few bugs that we uncovered.
We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as Greenwire 3.0 goes live, so stay tuned for more updates including in depth overviews of all of the platform’s new features.
