Canterbury & District Greenpeace
Canterbury & District is possibly the most active network in the known (not simulated*) Universe. In the last year alone we have campaigned to stop fracking, to save the Arctic from Shell, to preserve our oceans from John West, driven a 3-tonne polar bear through London, etc.
There is always something that you can do to help our fragile planet.
Our planning meetings happen on the second Saturday of each month at the Phoenix on Old Dover Road, Canterbury. Meeting time 13:30. But action is more important than talking in a pub - we campaign all the time to protect our oceans, our forests and our climate. You really can do something direct and practical and exciting. Get off the sofa and come and help.
"You owe the companies nothing. You especially don't owe them any courtesy. They have rearranged the world to put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission, don't even start asking for theirs." - Banksy
