Air pollution kills many people around the world, including the UK, where 9,400 deaths in London alone are the result of air pollution. Our air pollution campaign has both culprits and solutions. The internal combustion engine is the chief culprit. Solutions include Clean Air Zones, along with support for electric cars, better public transport and regulating car companies. Plenty more about this can be found on the Greenpeace website where there is also a nationa petition.
The campaign kicked off on April 12th. The initial focus was London, the UK's worst city for air quality, but the campaign will grow to challenge authorities, industry and others around the UK and hammer nails into the coffin of the internal combustion engine. #CleanAirNow
