We are starting the year by returning to our campaign to persuade supermarkets to cut out the pointless plastic packaging which dominates much of what they sell.

For the next month we will be collecting this plastic from shoppers at Sainsburys before handing it in to the supermarket late in February.

Our first activity will be at the Sainsburys on Queens Road in the centre of Norwich, meeting at the pedestrian entrance on the corner of Queens Road and Brazen Gate.

You don't have to be a member of Greenpeace to get involved with this event, just someone concerned about the impact of plastic on our environment.
