Bristol East will be campaigning in Castle Park on the recycling of plastic bottles.and in particular targetting Coca-Cola to improve its practicies on recycling their bottles.  At the moment their plastic bottles only contain a woeful 7% of recycled material.  Help us to gain messages from the public to send to the CEO of Coca-Cola an to get people to have pictures taken with a photoboard telling their friends 'Don't let Coke choke our oceans.'

We also need to get Bristol recycling more plastic bottles - nationally we only recycle about a half of our 36 million plastic bottles that are used every day!  A staggering 16 million bottles go to landfill and some end up in the oceans.

We will be at the Bristol Bridge end of Castle Park from 12 noon to 2.00pm.  If you can spare some time to come and join us campaign then do enrol for this event - click button on the right of this page.
