Supermarket customers in the UK have had enough of the pointless plastic packaging forced on them in their weekly shop. On Saturday 15th September, shoppers all over the country will be taking action by leaving their unwanted excess fruit and veg packaging at the till.
Join us in Arnold, Nottingham on the morning of Saturday 15th to tell supermarkets (specifically Aldi and Lidl (just up the road) - if we can get 6 people to come along) that the oceans can't swallow any more plastics. Well meet outside Aldi first.
We'll try and encourage every shopper to do the same and hopefully we can show the supermarkets how much pointless plastic they generate and how fed up we are about it.
The look on the duty's manager face will be priceless!
