Over the past year, plastic as an issue has snowballed, with public awareness at an all-time high. ‘Single-use'’ was named as the word of the year 2018 and the pulse of the single-use plastics issue is now firmly with supermarkets. A supermarket is where most people experience plastic packaging and they have the power to greatly reduce the amount they use.
Our Bristol group will be targeting Sainsburys' stores for a series of #ShoppersRevolt events when we will be asking customers to hand over their unwanted pointless plastic packaging along with a message to the supermarket manager.
The second event is at Sainsbury's Winterstoke Road - please meet at 11am when a full briefing will be given. The contact on the day is Richard Lancaster 07505 990593 firstname.lastname@example.org
