Sainbury's is the worst of all the UK supermarkets on single-use plastic. Their pledge to reduce single-use plasitc is the worst of all the supermarkets and since Greenpeace launched the plastic campaign in January 2018 Sainsbury's have made the least progress to reduce their plastic footprint. It appears Sainsbury's #couldntcareless.

We are going to campaign outside Sainsbury's to help raise awareness amongst customers. We'll be asking customers to write messages to Sainsbury's to pressure them into taking action now. We'll also be collecting any Sainsbury's branded plastic (recyclable and non-recyclable).

The messages and plastic collected will be used to tell Sainsbury's that they need to act quickly.

Do join us on Sunday 14th at Sainsbury's in High Heaton.
