Protect the Antarctic: pub quiz and live music night

9 October, 2018 - 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM BST
The Boatyard John Street 1 NE30 4PL
Event type:
3 persons are going

Greenpeace Newcastle are hosting a pub quiz, with live music, in support of the campaign to make an Antarctic Ocean Sanctuary. Internationally Greenpeace has been campaigning to create the largest protected area on the planet, that would be a safe haven for penguins, whales and seals, allowing them to recover from the threats of climate change, pollution and industrial fishing.

So why not come along to The Boatyard and have some fun, see what Greenpeace has been up to and what we can achieve together?

BYOB! ;)

It's £3 per person for the quiz, the theme of the quiz will be all about the environment and animals, so thinking caps on everyone!

Music by local singer-songwriter Calum David Tordoff.

Over 1.8 million people have already backed the campaign worldwide. Join them by signing the petition for the largest protected area on Earth here:
