our first outing to try and #EndOceanPlastics specifically asking Coca-Cola to take responsibility for its plastic footprint.
We’ll be at East Dulwich from 10am to 3pm with 2 teams: One doing the morning shift (10am to 1pm) and one doing the afternoon shifty (noon to 3pm). This allows for an hour in between (12 to 1) where we can go the pub for a quick half and do the handover.
Meeting point for the morning team is 9:45 at the Blue mountain café (18 N Cross Rd, East Dulwich, London SE22 9EU). If you’re in the afternoon team, come find us at the market.
In terms of the activity itself, we’ll be talking to the lovely people of Dulwich, asking them to write a postcard to Mr Damian Gammell the CEO of Coca-Cola European Partners plc . We will also have a Face-in-Hole to encourage people to take a photo of themselves and post on social media. That’s the stuff we will get from Greenpeace UK. We will also be (kind of) creative and re-create our very own little beach: sand, sea shells, sun, and Coca Cola plastic bottles lying everywhere! Bring some summer-y beach-y things as props and try and get your hands on empty bottles of Coke so that the message is loud and clear.
