Leeds Talk "How to Save our Oceans from Plastic"

This year, the focus of International Earth Day is plastic pollution.

On Thursday 26th April, local Greenpeace member Alan Rawlinson will be talking about  "How to Save our Oceans from Plastic" He will be talking about "Plastic-The Problems, the Solutions and the Actions needed to stop turning our Planet Toxic!"

Plastic is an issue that has been in the news a lot recently. Harming oceans, littering our beaches, clogging our waste streams and disrupting human hormones; it is time to end plastic pollution. The exponential growth of plastics is now threatening the survival of our planet.

The talk will take place on Thursday 26th April, 6.30-8pm at Business School SR 1.15.   Business School Maurice Keyworth building, University of Leeds, Moorland Rd, Leeds LS6 1AN Refreshments will be provided.
