This is a building industry event, popular not just with builders but with architects, designers, students and enthusiasts for energy-saving and renewable energy systems. It is free to enter, with registration points on entry or preregistration on-line at https://futurebuild19.reg.buzz/?affiliate=1015efc89f580c7fce2665df02f853....

Previous years' exhibits have included modular factory-made houses, solar energy suppliers, ground source and air source heat pump system providers, and traditional low carbon house builders and educators (straw bale etc). Bill Dunster, the architectural brain behind BedZED (the pioneering zero emission housing development in Croydon) is a regular exhibitor and conference speaker, as is Duncan  Baker-Brown of Brighton University, creator of the Brighton Waste House and expert on the reuse and recycling of construction materials, who ran a series of talks on that topic at 2018's Futurebuild.

A previous linked exhibition devoted entirely to resource reuse, recycling and zero waste has been folded into Futurebuild with an exhibiton and conference area devoted to those themes.
