One of the UK's largest banks, Barclays, is funding pipelines for oil from tar sands in Canada.  This is a hugely polluting form of fuel extraction that is devastating for climate change and destroying huge swathes of land in Canada and displacing indigenous people.

After meeting for coffee first, the Dundee Greenpeace Group will be out in the city centre at lunchtime on Monday 9th July informing the public and customers of Barclays of the bank's part in this dirty industry, and asking people to show their concern with signed 'credit cards'. Do come and join us!
