Following the success of our last pub quiz we are having another one! We at Greenpeace Newcastle are hosting a Xmas pub quiz, with live music, in support of our #DropDirtyPalmOil campaign.
Doors open at 7.30pm, quiz starts at 8pm.
To guarantee a place in the quiz you must reserve a seat through eventbrite. It's £3 per person for the quiz to pay on the night. The theme of the quiz will be all about the environment and animals, so thinking caps on everyone!
We want to stop company's like Colgate, Oreo, Kit Kat and many more using dirty palm oil. Dirty palm oil is produced through mass deforestation of rainforests. Rainforests are the lungs of our planet, helping to mitigate against the effects of climate change, and they are home to indigenous people and many endangered species including the orangutan.
We are holding these companies to account and calling on them to stop buying palm oil from rainforest destroyers and to keep to their promises to use sustainable palm oil.
So why not come along and have some fun, see what Greenpeace has been up to and what we can achieve together?
Music by local singer-songwriter Calum Tordoff.
