This event is being organised by the Bristol Environmental Activists Together.group (BEAT) which brings together 28 environmentsl groups from across the Bristol area.  Bristol greenpeace agreed to take part in a march and join the main rally on College Green.  The event is held as part of a global call out for action by our local and national elected representatives.  The demands will be for less fossil fuels and more renewables, divestment from fossil fuels, clean air, clean and safe transport and green jobs.

10.45 am- 11.15am   Meet outside the Friends Meeting House in Champion Square where we will have costumes to wear as part of a parade/march to College Green.  There is 2 polar bears (adult), two polar bears (child), a walrus, a snowy owl, a narwhal and an orangutan.  We also have half a dozen penguin heads.  We will also have the Greenpeace banner to head up our parade.  (Please note that we do not have access to the Friends Meeting House and car parking.)  If you can please bring placards, whistles or any percussion then that would attract people's attention to our parade.

11.15am - 11.45am  The Greenpeace part of the parade will process past Cabot Circus and then through Broadmead, up Union Street, down Corn Street, to St Augustine's parade, and then up to College Green to get there by 11.45am.

12.00am - 1.00pm  Rally on College Green.  If you are wearing a costume - just be aware that you may be asked to pose for photos!!
