Bristol East at Trinity Centre's Garden Party 2017

Last weekend Bristol East returned to the Trinity Centre for their Garden Party 2107.  We were once again blessed with good weather which meant the event was a popular choice for many locals who sat in the garden chatting and chilling to the music. Freelance Photographer, Rosie Despres, attended to take more photos of the campaign against Coca Cola.  See her wonderful photos here:   Some more superb images of Bristol East in action.

We were asking those attending to write a message  to Damian Gammell (CEO of Coca-Cola EU) to ask him to phase out throwaway plastic, ensure all packaging is 100% recycled and to introduce reusable containers and innovative new delivery systems.  In addition some people posed with our 'Don't let #Coke choke our oceans' poster.  Of course, we were encouraging those attending to recycle their plastic.

Many thanks to Anna, Fi and Richard B for setting up the stall.  Joining later on were Suzanne, Gareth, Kay and Loz.  Together they acquired 123 messages to be passed on to Cola's CEO (including 101 details of campaign supporters).  Well done team!
