Mini documentary: Kingsnorth six - the historical action and climate court case

Hi all,

I watched this old documentary again today and thought it might interest many of you too - hightly recommend to watch it if you yet havent seen it.

This mini documentary is about the legendary Kingsnorth court case around the action where Greenpeace activists accupyed and painted a coal power plantplant chimney October 8 2007. On the court, the activists argued that they were legally justified because they were trying to prevent climate change causing greater damage to property around the world.

The court case made history, since the jury found the activist unguilty of of causing £30,000 of criminal damage at a coal-fired power station. It was the first case in which preventing property damage caused by climate change had been used as part of a "lawful excuse" defence in court.

Hope you enjoy the documentary! :)
