This Canada Day, join Greenpeace Ottawa as we remind folks that the best birthday present they can give Canada is a plastics free future!

We will be bringing back our plastics costume - composed of the average number of bottles and bags  Canadians use each year - and asking people to pledge to go without single-use plastics (specifically plastic bottles, bags, cutlery and balloons - among the deadliest forms of ocean trash for marine life).

We need your support - please show up, lend a hand and don't feel shy about getting creative!

We will be meeting at the large spider statue (Maman) outside the National Gallery of Canada.

Together we will turn the tide on plastic pollution!
