2016 Greenpeace Durban Volunteer Induction

We glad to announce that we have set a date for our upcoming volunteer induction and meet-up for Saturday, 23 July  2016. Tried of sitting on the sidelines, well here is your chance to become more involved. As a volunteer,  you'll get a chance to help coordinate the local Durban group's activties,  you'll help to drive change online and in your local community, plus get hands-on experience in Greenpeace campaigns. Become part of Greenpeace's story. The story that Greenpeace tells is that a better world is possible, and that brave individual and collective action can make that world a reality. We can live in harmony with the Earth and each other.

The induction will help you learn about Greenpeace's history, core values, methodology and the various campaigns that Greenpeace Africa runs to cover environmental issues of national and local importance. We also hope that you will get an understanding of volunteering opportunities and your contribution as a volunteer.  You will be introduced to the various tools and resources which will be made available to you over the course of your volunteering and get to interact with stalwarts! Our fragile Earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change. It needs action! If you can’t wait to start volunteering, you can RSVP and get in touch via email: dvolunte [at] greenpeace [dot] org or tel: 0716218305

We look forward to meeting you!
